During a relaxed dinner with a group of retired engineers, our CEO, Mr. Rajat Khurana, heard an inspiring story about the wife of a retired railway engineer.

Mrs. Ahuja, a lifelong homemaker, had recently found herself with time to spare after her husband's retirement from Indian Railways and her own children well-settled. In that time, she came across a 50-year-old, run-down orphanage for girls. Deeply moved by the lack of hope she saw in the eyes of the children, she felt a strong desire to make a difference.

Determined to contribute her time and energy, Mrs. Ahuja took on the role of Director. Seeing her passion and commitment, we pledged our full support. Together, we began the journey of revitalizing an institution that had long been neglected.

In less than two years, the transformation has been remarkable.
The girls now attend school in proper uniforms.
They receive three nutritious meals daily.
Comfortable bedding and solar-heated water ensure basic comforts.
Proper footwear allows them to play and explore freely.
Most importantly, they are surrounded by consistent support—from us, local organizations, and caring families.
And perhaps the most profound change: these girls now have dreams—to become teachers, doctors, engineers, even tennis players.

The aging building has been restored with structural reinforcements and fresh paint. New facilities, including an assembly hall and modern bathrooms, have been added. The community's financial and emotional support has far exceeded expectations.
What initially seemed like a daunting challenge for Mrs. Ahuja has evolved into a truly rewarding journey. With 50 young lives forever changed, this project remains one of the most meaningful initiatives we've had the privilege to support.

Among the many initiatives we've undertaken, our work with 75 tribal villages in Jharkhand stands out as one of the most impactful—and deeply humbling—projects we've been privileged to support.
Initially, our approach was straightforward: fund education to empower children and adults, enabling them to access better opportunities and build self-reliant futures. However, as we engaged more deeply, we came to a sobering realization—we knew little about the harsh realities of life in these remote tribal communities.
In these villages, basic human necessities are scarce. Many individuals do not own even two sets of clothing. During the harsh winter months, when temperatures can plummet to 20°F, some villagers resort to digging holes and covering themselves with leaves for warmth, as they do not even have a blanket to protect themselves.

Before education, these communities need compassion, dignity, and relief from daily suffering. It is essential that they know someone out there cares.
It is essential that they are able to live without persistent pain.
It is essential that they understand the world has the means—and the heart—to support their most basic needs.
And it is essential, as a collective humanity, that we act.

The cost of intervention is minimal but life-changing:
$2 for a dhoti (traditional men's attire)
$3 for a sari (traditional women's attire)
$6 for a quilt

We have committed that before the next winter, every individual across these villages will receive an additional set of clothing and a quilt.
Additionally, we have introduced a monthly medical outreach program, where a doctor visits to provide basic healthcare services and build awareness. Even so, access to essentials like pain relievers, cough syrup, or simple bandages remains limited.
Our immediate focus this year is to deliver these basic necessities—clothing, warmth, and healthcare. Once these foundations are in place, we will move forward with our long-term goal: providing access to education and sustainable development.
This is not charity. It is a responsibility—to ensure that every human being has the right to live with dignity.

We are proud to announce the opening of a new school in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand—an important milestone in our ongoing initiative to uplift Adivasi (tribal) communities through education and healthcare.
Launched on the occasion of India's 64th Independence Day, the school marks a new beginning for 45 young girls, who have taken their first steps toward a brighter future.
Situated on a 2.5-acre campus, the school is currently staffed by three dedicated teachers and offers a nurturing, residential environment. All enrolled students receive three nutritious meals a day at no cost, along with a safe, supportive space to learn, live, and grow. Our vision is to create future role models—young women who will inspire transformation within their families and communities.

The girls' school in Hazaribagh has not only transformed the lives of 50 young students—it has inspired a movement. Individuals from neighboring districts and communities began reaching out, eager to understand how they could create similar spaces of opportunity in their own villages.
Our ask was straightforward: Give us an abandoned school or building—and we will take care of the rest.
One elderly resident of Belgara village in Chatra, Jharkhand (a community of over 1,000 households) stepped up. With his leadership and community support, we secured an old building and began work on our next milestone: a residential school for boys.
After four months of outreach, we found a Principal willing to relocate and lead this initiative. This decision came with challenges—Belgara is nestled deep in forested terrain, within an area long recognized as a core zone of the Naxalite movement, where feelings of systemic neglect run deep among tribal populations.
Despite the challenges, we are proud to announce the successful opening of the Boys' School in Belgara

The school will house and educate 25 boys aged 5 to 12. It is staffed with:
A full-time teacher to deliver quality education
A cook to provide three healthy meals a day
An assistant to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
These boys will live, learn, and most importantly, dream here—dreams that once felt distant, now within reach. This school will not only change their lives, but serve as a beacon of hope for the entire region.

What's Next:
We are now working to establish a community dispensary staffed with an on-site doctor who will provide free medical care to 20 nearby villages.
